410-706-2319 Dr. Gillian Berry is a licensed clinical social worker with nearly twenty years experience as a practitioner and educator. She obtained her Masters and doctoral degrees from Birmingham University in England. She presents nationally and internationally on professional social work practice and her research interests include public child welfare, culturally appropriate social work practice, and personal/self-development. She has worked as an adjunct faculty member at the School of Social Work and full time at the University of Botswana’s Department of Social Work. She is also a trained facilitator and mediator for the State of Maryland. Dr. Berry has worked as a Continuing Child Protection caseworker and supervisor for Charles County Department of Social Services. She currently works as a clinical instructor at the Child Welfare Academy, School of Social Work University of Maryland. She is a member of the Maryland Chapter - National Association of Social Workers and the Council for Social Work Education. |
