| Maureen Harkness, Academic Coordinator, is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2004. Maureen interned at Family Connections during the 2003-2004 school year where her passion for social justice was fueled by her work with the families she served in West Baltimore. She has experience working with children in foster care and residential treatment settings as well as working with families in the Family Connections program. Maureen’s primary interests include working with traumatized children through art and play therapy techniques, group work with children, and work with caregivers to enhance their overall functioning and well-being. |
