Kimberly McCorr is the Office Manager at the UMB School of Social Work Ruth H. Young Center for Families and Children. She has the primary responsibility for financial management of all grants and contracts under the center's research projects as well as coordination of office operations including the development of tracking systems to assure timely submission of required grant reports, preparing budgets and managing expenses. She provides support related to contract and grant proposal submissions. She also serves as campus liaison between the Center and officials within and outside the institution. She has a background in project management and supervision primarily in policy and procedure compliance as well as quality control, quality assurance and performance evaluation. She spent several years in the field of biotechnology research and development where she was responsible for training and assisting management in operating with greater efficiency and effectiveness. She received a MBA degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland University College and a BA in Business Administration from Sojourner-Douglass College. She is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in the field of Early Childhood Development to expand her interests in Child Advocacy and Education. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Sigma Beta Delta Business Chapter of Sojourner-Douglass College, the Metropolitan Who's Who, and American Management Association. |
